‘Education’ Project Case Study

OBP have established a core business within the Education sector that spans many years. This has allowed OBP to individually and collectively work on major schemes such as the Building Schools for the Future Framework working with and for Main Contractors. Whilst more recently we have been involved with the refurbishment side of keeping existing schools looking and feeling great.

We have extensive experience with all types of maintenance and new project requirements from window replacement to classroom upgrades.

Rather than focus on one example we wanted to show you a variety of work within this sector to showcase our capability. We value our role within Education and are proud to work alongside our Education partners. The main thing for OBP is that we enjoy playing our part.

Classroom upgrade

New suspended ceiling - LED lighting with PIR Sensors - Aluminium Fire escape doors - Aluminium windows - Carpet tiles

Fire doors upgrade

New Custom FD30 Double Fire Doors with Frame, All Doors included intumescent Seals pre routed into the doors. The Schools choice of colours - Sea Blue Formica with Ash Lipping to all 4 edges. Completed with overhead door closers and ironmongery to suit.

External works

We were employed by a school trust in Greater Manchester to complete an upgrade of their external façade. Working to the employers requirements we installed a scheme to replace a mix of single glazed timber window frames and Upvc door sets that were aged and no longer fit for purpose. We agreed to a programme of works that would cause minimal disruption to the schools operations day to day. The outcome has left the school with brand new energy efficient rated A aluminium frames and glazing which ultimately improves the learning and teaching environment.
